Capetonian Idols finalist, Paxton Fielies’ Twitter account has been suspended after she allegedly recorded a song without legal rights from the composer. Fans have come out in droves to show support for Paxton who is unable to campaign on Twitter, giving her an unfair disadvantage in votes. Gallo Record Company has tweeted saying that the song rights were approved by the composer and publisher. It is unknown when her account will be reinstated. Voting closes at 10pm tonight.
Hi Fans – please note that Paxton’s song rights were approved by the composer & their publisher. This version is in English & has different lyrics. It was presented to us as it has never been released in English before. All approvals are in place. TY for your support.

The fans of the group that originally recorded the song were harassing and bullying Paxton since Sunday and tagging Idols fans not to vote for her because of it. I hope Idols fixes this. Paxton now has a very unfair disadvantage.
