On Thursday, May 27, two young children brought their little puppy to the Animal Welfare Society of SA because she had stopped eating.

They didn’t have any money with them, but were quite willing to surrender their packet of Nik-Naks that was probably the only thing they’ll get to eat all day in exchange for their help.

“Whilst the nursing assistant was busy assessing their puppy I snuck away to check how much of credit had accumulated in our PayFast Account and was relieved to see several recent donations that amounted to enough money to provide their little puppy with the treatment she so desperately needed”, says Allan Perrins.

“When I returned to the Clinic to give them the good news they were so happy and very pleased that they got to keep their packet of Nik-Naks. So this thank you is about a lot more than acknowledging your gift to us.”

Thanks to you, the readers, the Animal Welfare Society of SA were able to treat the girl’s puppy who they love to bits and teach them one of life’s most valuable lessons about caring and sharing.
