The Van Breda murder trial was postponed this morning until 10am tomorrow. Today we were supposed to hear from the State’s blood splatter expert, which would have been extremely interesting to hear, but the witness has fallen ill and subsequently booked off for the week.
In light of this, the state has had to make arrangements with other witnesses to use for the rest of this week. Hopefully by this time next week we’ll be hearing from the blood splatter expert who I’m sure will be providing us with plenty food for thought.
Due to the state’s blood splatter expert being ill, court will be postponed till 10am tomorrow 15 August #vanbreda @CapeTownEtc

Tomorrow we could see Warrant Officer Nel take the stand, part of the forensic lab too, as last week Advocate Galloway indicated that she would be called.
