Several wine tanks at a darling winery allegedly exploded on Wednesday, May 5. Videos are circulating on social media, showing copious amounts of wine spillage.

The Darling Cellars released a statement addressing the “traumatic” incident. According to the team, a stand holding the wine tank collapsed and fell on other tanks. Unfortunately, this has resulted in the loss of their new vintage.
“While the loss of wine is a financial reality, we are glad that no-one was injured in this incident. It could have been so much worse,” stated Darling Wine Cellars.
Despite this traumatic event, they indicated that there was no immediate risk to the wine supply, promising to overcome this setback and thanking the public for their support.
“We shall overcome this setback. Thank you for all the calls of support, genuine concern and interest in our business. We are humbled by all your support.”
