The latest recoveries Covid recoveries in the Western Cape on Saturday evening exceeded 260 000, with the latest figures showing 6132 active cases.
The Western Cape’s cumulative total is 277 470 and of those, 11 150 have been fatalities.
The National recovery rate is at 94 percent, with total recoveries 1 429 047. Nationally, the death rate is 49 941, with 157 deaths recorded on Saturday evening and 1447 new cases.
Nationally there have also been 67 303 Vaccines administered and in the Western Cape, 67 percent of the 13 000 Vaccines have been administered to Health Care workers.
