A fire that broke out this afternoon at Holy Cross Primary School in Keizergracht Street, Zonnebloem, has led to an evacuation of all students and teachers. According to the City of Cape Town’s Fire and Rescue Services spokesperson, Theo Layne, no injuries have been reported.
Eight Fire and Rescue vehicles were deployed to the scene, along with 27 firefighters.
The blaze was still being battled by City firefighters at the time of publication, and the cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
