President Jacob Zuma looked seriously unimpressed after the ANC announced their newly elected president, Cyril Ramaphosa. A video circulated on social media, showed a rather annoyed and straight-faced Zuma. The video, posted by journalist Nickolaus Bauer, received an overwhelming response on social media. The footage received 8500 retweets, 7100 likes and 1100 comments.

Ramaphosa was announced as president late yesterday evening after a tough 10 hour session of voting. His rival, Dr Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma, congratulated him shortly after his win by just 179 votes.
