Every now and again a video comes along that takes my breath away as it showcases Cape Town in all her glory. This latest offering by Brendon Wainwright is no exception.
It’s a time lapse of the city rendered from 7,350 still images of various locations, taken over the course of two years. A true work of dedication and a homage to our Mother City that quite frankly gave me goosebumps.
Watch visitors to the Table Mountain Cableway as they try get that perfect picture of the city, or watch as torch-weilding hikers make their way up Lion’s Head on the night of a full moon, and watch as a sea of clouds completely swallows up the CBD.
This Cape Town timelapse video is simply awe-inspiring and deserves way more views:
Oh my word – this is so splendid – love my city xx
Amazing, love Cape Town
