This fact-filled video presents some very interesting facts about our beloved Table Mountain, once known as Hoerikwaggo (from the Khoi word meaning ‘mountain in the sea’).

From the story of the 18th century British explorer who resided in the mountain donning nothing but animal skins, to the story of Van Hunks and the ‘Devil’, this episode of the video series entitled ‘Know Your Country’ is a fascinating look into the history of Cape Town.
