Cape Town artist, Jeremy Olivier, has just released a new song in collaboration with SA’s very own 5 time Grammy winners, Ladysmith Black Mambazo – ‘Africa’s Time’ – and it’s gone viral …
The music video showcases everything we love about our beautiful Rainbow Nation and has all the #ProudlySouthAfrican feels. By the end of it, you’ll find yourself with your hand on your heart passionately singing along to Nkosi Sikelel’ iAfrika!
‘Africa’s Time’ is the first single release from Jeremy’s brand new album: ‘CHANGING WORLD’. The album was recorded in New York at The Clubhouse (the same studio where The Lumineers and Shawn Mendes recorded their latest albums). It features Grammy winning drummer Will Calhoun of Living Color fame (who has also toured with The Rolling Stones, Peter Gabriel and Lauren Hill to name a few), and David Sancious (keyboard player for Sting and Bruce Springsteen), with horn arrangements by the legendary Tom ‘Bones’ Malone (who’s list of collaborations reads like the who’s who in music).
Changing World has been called ‘The New Graceland’ with it’s catchy African guitar riffs blended with New York funk and sophistication and is striking a chord with music lovers all over the world.
To kickstart the album launch they are running a competition with a fantastic prize:
