Even the name of the hotel itself screams exclusivity, so you know that when you go to the One&Only you are going to experience something special.
This extends to every part of the hotel, so even if you don’t stay there you can indulge in its offerings. One of the very best places to experience this is the hotel Spa. The Spa has recently undergone refurbishment and updated their suites to offer you ultimate pampering and we were there to see what’s new.
Walking into the Spa is like walking into a private utopia. The spa floats on its own private island on a lake in the middle of the hotel. You descend downstairs into a lovely lit lobby, walk through into a lush area filled with greenery and into your chosen area of pleasure. There are different sections for different treatments and wonderful couple suites for you and your significant other to enjoy. Not only will you get to unwind in these stunning suites, you experience treatments that you will not experience anywhere else in the country.
The One&Only Spa have introduced Gel Revolution, Nu face and ESPA into their treatment range. They have custom made a number of treatments to fulfill very particular needs. There is a treatment aimed the stomach health, one to help circulation and an insanely cool massage called harmony, where four hands are on you at the same time! The Nu Face facial treatment makes use of an extraordinary little device that uses a mild current to stimulate your face. If you are stressing because you read ‘current’, don’t. You literally feel nothing except a lovely massage.
One of the best suites for me were the couple suites. There are two suites, each with their own theme. Each suite has a jacuzzi, for you and your partner to enjoy for an hour before your treatments begin. There is also an insanely cool outdoor shower, that will make you feel as if you are bathing in the rain. For the fitness freaks out there, there is a dedicated fitness area that serves the most delicious green juice (seriously). There are also a Vitality Pool, Aroma-steam room, Sauna and experience showers that you can use during your stay,
The One&Only is not a place where you go for a quick massage or facial. It is a place where you spend a few hours in the lap of luxury getting spoiled like you deserve.
