Desre Buirski started designing men’s shirts in the 1980s. After the 1994 election, she wrapped up one of her shirts as a gift to honour Nelson Mandela, which lead to her helping create a style just for Madiba himself – a personal style that has become iconic.

It’s through this legacy that the Presidential concept was born, with that very first fish shirt in 1994.

The shirts are made of 100% cotton with patterns created using either embroidery or print.

This particular shirt is named the Madiba Classic, in a bold red. It’s made from 100% cotton with a silk finish. Perfect for any occasion.
