Sisters Donna and Ray Mohamed are channeling everything about young adult life in Cape Town – into one lifestyle and fashion blog.
Born only a year apart, the sisters are close and share the same passion for beauty and lifestyle writing, and sharing their interests on their blog. With Donna living in a UCT residence in the Southern Suburbs and her sister Ray in the Northen Suburbs at home, the close sisters have now been separated, hence the title of the blog they run together.
Writing about everything trendy from haircare to make up to living room decor, the Mohamed sisters have got it down when it comes to young hearts and passion with contemporary style. Their blog is a wonderland of aesthetically pleasing images and informative posts about great hair, skin and makeup products, as well as some pretty inspiring outfit compilations.
Ray is studying Medicine at Stellenbosch University’s Tygerberg Campus, while Donna studies B.SocSci at UCT, majoring in Economics. Ray is also a featured blogger on Beauty Bulletin. How they keep it up? Ray and Donna’s pure passion for all things beauty seems to be enough to keep their stylish webpage running.
The creative duo report back to the blog about their fun days out and about too, with beautiful imagery and perfectly ‘lifestyle-esque’ charm.
Don’t forget the home decor life and style posts too. The separated sisters recently posted a range of stunning pictures from their visit to the Decorex 2017 in May. A flare for capturing great images every time, the Decorex post shows off more of the sisters’ skills.
The Separated Sisters encapsulate what being a young Capetonian is all about, and shows the creativity of two young minds at work.
Be a real millenial and check out their social media pages and scroll for hours. Just like we did.
