1 How does Cape Town influence you or your work?
Nature is a wonderful catalyst for creativity and innovation. I travel a lot and the ability to come home to the Mother City and get ‘off the treadmill’ helps me access my best thinking.
2 What do you love most about this city?
Proximity is my favourite aspect – quick access to mountains, ocean, the Winelands and a plethora of the best food and coffee in the world.
3 If your friend was visiting Cape Town for the first time, where would you take them?
Babylonstoren – it’s one of my favourite experiences in the world.
4 Describe the city in three words.
Majestic. Nurturing. Inspiring.
5 If you were to create a souvenir that represents Cape Town, what would it be or look like?
Something that would represent Table Mountain.
6 What’s your favourite Cape catchphrase?
‘Awe, my bru.’
