Eating at Hard Rock Cafe in Camps Bay is a glamorous experience. You feel like a rock star from the moment you step inside, surrounded by rock star references like musical instruments hanging from the roof, Bob Dylan’s boots on the wall and a microphone stand that was used by Rihanna at the American Music Awards in 2009.

The world-famous restaurant has now launched some fantastic additions to their menu, including the 24-Karat Gold Leaf Steak Burger (which, you guessed it, is covered in edible gold). Their signature cocktail range has also expanded to include refreshing, summer-licious drinks to quench the thirst after a long hot day.

The burger is fit for a king, and aside from being excellently presented also tastes like something Elton John would eat. The spectacular views don’t hurt either.

After indulging in the golden pleasure, top it all off with a decadent boozy milkshake. Cookies and Cream was my ultimate favourite and will keep me coming back for more.

Pop in for a game-changing meal, show-stopping drinks or just for the friendly vibe.
Hard Rock Cafe is located at Shop 105, The Promenade, 85 Victoria Rd, Camps Bay, Cape Town, 8005.
