Cape Town fans of Ed Sheeran can rejoice – the award-winning singer has announced an additional show-date for his tour in South Africa next year. This means locals who missed their chance to grab tickets for the first show have another chance to watch Sheeran perform in the Mother City.
Due to the overwhelming response from Capetonians, with initial tickets selling out in minutes, Sheeran decided to add a second date for a Cape Town concert to his tour. He made the announcement in a social media clip shared by Big Concerts, in which he explained he had previously been unable to add another show-date.
“I have worked out a way to add another show…uhm I didn’t think we could do this but now we can,” Sheeran said.
The music sensation revealed the additional show will take place on March 28 2018. Tickets will be released on November 15 2018 at 9am and will be available on Computicket.
