The local and internationally renowned comedian, Trevor Noah, has announced the release of his upcoming new Netflix show, ‘Son of Patricia’.
Noah is known for his stand up comedic talent and hilarious hosting abilities on United States hit, ‘The Daily Show’. The local celebrity has even taken his stardom across waters, attending international events such as the Emmy Awards.
Known as South Africa’s ‘funny man’, Noah took to social media to announce the launch of his new Netflix show.
The show is scheduled to launch on November 20 and features a brand new original stand up comedy show.
‘Son of Patricia’ is the second feature stand up by Noah on Netflix.
Information regarding who ‘Patricia’ may reference is yet to be revealed but many have their personal speculations.
The first feature, ‘Afraid of the Dark’ was hugely popular and left viewers giggling in their seats, making his upcoming release a long awaited one.
According to Netflix, ‘Son of Patricia’ touches on racism, immigration, camping and more. The show promises to keep locals laughing.
