Local fans of the popular TV game show Family Feud will soon have the chance to watch a very special South African version which is expected to start filming this year.
During a press briefing in Johannesburg this week, the host of the show Steve Harvey announced that Family Feud will soon makes its way to the African continent.

Harvey discussed the details of the production, which according to him will feature local families and still be hosted by none other than Harvey himself.
On the game show, two families compete to name the most popular responses supplied from a survey consisting of unique and entertaining questions to take home cash and prizes.

The show was originally created by Mark Goodson and started in 1976 achieving multiple adaptations over the years in over 50 international markets.
Harvey began hosting the show in 2010 and the local version of the show is expected to commence production in Johannesburg later this year and hit TV screens by early 2020.
