The romance between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle has had the entire world enthralled and it culminates in the highly anticipated Royal Wedding on Saturday. The lead up to the royal ceremony has not been without incident, Markle’s father shamed her with posed photographs, then said he had a heart attack and would not be able to walk her down the aisle. Only to retract his statement, and say he will be walking her down the aisle. It ended in Markle releasing a statement saying he will not be attending the ceremony.
Kensington palace today confirmed Prince Charles instead will be giving the bride away: “Ms. Meghan Markle has asked His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales to accompany her down the aisle of the Quire of St George’s Chapel.”
And if all of that is not enough to add to their wedding woes, we’ve found some rather interesting Harry and Meghan memorabilia:
You may have to marry a Royal to afford this phone cover
If you have cash to spare, this 24-karate golden and diamond iPhone X may be just the thing you need to remember the Royal nuptials. Just 99 of these Gold iPhone X Elite – 24K Gold Royal Wedding Edition were made and costs a staggering £3 597 (R61 650). A slightly cheaper version, this one excluding diamonds, is available for £3 097 (R53 050). And while you would expect the pricey phone to at least have all the royals on speed dial, sadly it doesn’t.
Wrap up the Crown Jewels
Something you wouldn’t quite expect, are novelty condoms with the couple on the package (no pun intended). They will definitely protect the Crown Jewels (pun intended) – and they also make for great entertainment – when you open the box it sings God Save The Queen!
Hairy harry
Online retailer Bags of Love revealed these very unique bathing suits on their official site. “Available in 8 sizes from XS – 4XL, this gorgeous one-piece is flattering on any figure,” the post read. We’re not quite sure how we feel about Meghan’s costume, but we’re damn sure about how we feel about Hairy Harry’s one – that’s a solid no!
Which one do you think looks better?
Powered by love and caffeine
Love and caffeine go hand-in-hand. The Heidi Bakery and Coffee shop near Windsor Castle is selling a something which is a combination of two things any Royal Wedding enthusiast will need to catch a glimpse of the royals arriving for the ceremony.
This bakery sells lattes with the happy couple printed on the foam, and the detail is incredible.
Have an entire box of Royal wedding rings for yourself
They may as well be made of gold – this toasted multigrain breakfast cereal is sold by PoliticalCereals.com, and costs £40 per box (approximately R683).
