A recent Twitter post sent waves of panic across SA, as it called for people to check if their spouses were cheating on them. The public is taking the call to entry for a TV show as a declaration that South Africa may be getting its very own version of Cheaters.
Cheaters is an American reality show created by Bobby Goldstein, where spouses can apply to have their partners followed and investigated to uncover their cheating ways. Those found to be cheating are exposed and confronted on camera, their reactions as well as their explanations are filmed for the viewers’ amusement. There’s no telling if CheaterSA will definitely become a thing, but the idea seems highly popular, as entries and replies continue to pour in on Twitter.
