Grand West Casino is hosting a string of ‘Wintertainement’ activities providing endless hours of energy-zapping entertainment. Your kids can look forward to tons of fun with juggling shows, clowns, arts and crafts, and much more!

ARTJAMMING: THE ART OF PAINTERTAINMENT
Artjamming is every kid’s dream, to be given cans of paint and told to let their imaginations go wild. Adhering to no set rules, the little ones are given an apron (because with access to paint, there’s bound to be plenty of mess), a blank canvas and the wonderful opportunity to cultivate their creative side. No prior drawing or painting skills are needed, the only objective is to have fun!
Artjamming’s winter programme allows kids to get creative in several workshops ranging from Fun Foam to Picasso portraits.

IT’S ALL ABOUT THE KIDS AT THE TABLE MOUNTAIN CABLEWAY
Treat your young ones to the breathtaking view of Mother City that can only be seen on top of Table Mountain! Luckily, the Cableway’s Kidz Season special will be available throughout these school holidays – every adult return ticket bought allows two children to accompany the ride for free! The mini explorers can collect a treasure hunt map at the ticket office to turn their trip into an adventure or they can have a splash in the rainwater rock pools. There’s also plenty to learn with displays on seasons, times, hemispheres, and geography.

STEP INTO THE TOMB OF KING TUTANKHAMUN
Celebrate by going back even further in time and step into the world of Ancient Egypt with the ‘Tutankhamun – His Tomb And His Treasures’ exhibition. The world-renowned exhibition has recreated the pharaoh’s tomb to its exact size, including all the burial treasures that were discovered along with Tutankhamun. Coupled with the real-life size of the tomb is an audio guide and videos to make the experience that much richer. This is what childhood dreams are made of and is not to be missed! Your kids will certainly have a memorable day with the famous young pharaoh.
