FESTIVE FAMILY FUN AT GRANDWEST

There’s nothing like seeing the joy on a child’s face during the festive season. Between the decorations, music and treats, this time of year is absolute magic. GrandWest have decided to enhance the magic with a fun park and fantasy playground for the holidays.

From 16 December 2016 to 10 January 2017, the Sun Exhibits and Sun Park will be transformed into a wonderful space for the little ones to enjoy. Expect a whole range of activities for children as young as 18 months, including horse rides and aeroplane swings, an inflatable pop-up park, a rocket parachute simulator and a bungee trampoline.

For the older kids, there will be some big swings, a spiral jet, a jumping star Ferris wheel and pedal go-carts. The fun park is open daily from 11 am, but will be closed on Christmas Day. R20 gets you in and on Monday 19 December between 12 noon and 1 pm, kids can enjoy the rides for free as part of GrandWest’s birthday celebrations.

There’s also plenty of free activities to enjoy in GrandWest’s Cape Village. You can look forward to astounding magic shows, cookie decorating, beading workshops, puppet shows and arts and crafts. All this takes place daily from 12 noon. Head on over to GrandWest and make your festive season magical.
