Greenpop was founded in 2010, and is an award-winning registered non-profit organisation based in Cape Town. The organisation works with the aim to restore ecosystems, forest restoration, urban greening, and food gardening, and is also involved in environmental awareness projects across Sub-Saharan Africa.
So far, Greenpop has planted more than 150 000 trees and have inspired 132 000 citizens across South Africa, Zambia, Malawi and Tanzania.
According to good things guy, the organisation has worked on many diverse projects including replanting trees after the Knysna fire, creating green spaces in townships and working towards preventing deforestation with their deforestation project.
Greenpop encourages the public to consider buying your dad a “lasting, earth-changing gift” that will be around for years to come.
Your donation will help the organisation to raise funds for their restoration project that is aimed towards planting 500 000 trees to restore degraded South African forests, increase biodiversity and expand ecosystem services across the country by 2030.
