2.Thaiyashi, Newlands
Thaiyashi is located at Newlands Quarter and produces an elegant array of Japenese sushi with an in-house head sushi chef, Louis Jiang.
The menu is inspired by a range of Asian flavours such as Dim Sum and Wonton soups which are traditional Chinese. Pineapple fried rice is also on the menu for those wanting to explore a range of new flavours. There are vegetarian options too.

3.Sushi Box, Kloof Street
With five branches across Cape Town, Sushi box is renowned for its decor of lanterns scattered above the ceiling and fresh and tasty food. You can order tailor-made sushi platters for big events and a unique option on the menu is the ‘Dragon roll’ with eel and avocado.

Known to many locals and international visitors as one of the best sushi restaurants in Cape Town, Willoughby & Co are ‘purveyors of fine seafood’.
