La Tête has already been listed as one of the top restaurants in the world to watch by CNN, so it’s no secret that “Head” Chef Giles Edwards has a winning formula of great food and amazing hospitality. La Tête is owned by brother Giles and James and is perfectly situated on Bree Street.

To simplify the menu, we could call it gutsy – from the crispy pigtails to the scrumptious pig head pie – it is all deliciously fresh and uniquely prepared. Giles can’t seem to put a foot wrong, the cuisine he serves up gets better each week with more options to choose from. The audacious menu included dishes for the not so faint at heart too, but please try the heart – it’s all up to you and you won’t be disappointed.

Giles knows that his restaurant pushes boundaries, and he wouldn’t have it any other way. The fresh produce, which is locally and sustainably sourced, is kept as close to it’s natural form as possible.

We’ve put together a series of images titled “A Day in the Life of La Tête” to give you an insider’s glimpse.
