PIZZA AND WINE PAIRINGS

Eikendal Vineyards have become known for their pizza and wine pairings, which keep people coming back for more. The pairings consist of a trio of scrumptious mini pizzas, each paired with a wine from the estate.

For the warmer days, Eikendal has put together a lighter pizza and wine pairing. Lighter doesn’t mean their portion sizes are different; it means they’ve adjusted their flavours according to the season. For example, chicken and pineapple pizza, or a brie and cranberry pizza, paired with their new 2016 rosé. Each pizza flavour brings out the delicious flavours in the aromatic wine.

CUCINA DI GIOVANNI RESTAURANT

The worst part of a lazy day is cooking. Why can’t we all have a personal chef? Cucina Di Giovanni restaurant at Eikendal Vineyards offers a light lunch menu that guests can eat on the lawn, while enjoying the view and soaking up the sun. The restaurant also has a playground for kids to enjoy while you relax.

PIZZA COOKIE DECORATION AND TASTING

Your kids will definitely be hungry after all the running around, climbing and sliding at the Eikendal Vineyards playground. There is a special pizza cookie decoration and tasting just for the kids. Each child will receive two pizza cookies, a gingerbread man, decorations and a glass of milk to enjoy.

This way, the adults can have their pairings without worrying about the kids getting up to no good. (The kids pizza tasting sounds so yum, I wonder if they’ll make an exception for adults).

VINEYARD WALK 

Feeling refreshed after your lunch in the sun? Grab a map and your walking shoes, and head out for a stroll on the farm. Guests will be able to have an educational experience along the way with facts about the estates wine cultivars.
