Charlie and the Chocolate Factory took us all by surprise. Can you imagine all that candy and chocolate goodness in one room? Well, Coco Safar sure can and they’re making our childhood dreams a reality with a dessert restaurant. Move over, Willy Wonka.
Coco Safar is a new restaurant in Cavendish mall that caters to a crowd with a sweet tooth. Items on the menu include decadent brunch options, lunches and desserts.
The innovative minds behind the Coco Safar idea are Wilhelm Liebenberg and Caroline Sirois, who previously launched Spice Safar, a cocktail bar and lounge in Canada.
If you’re in need of a caffeine fix then Coco Safar will become your home away from home. The store will be creating generous cups of gourmet coffee to fight away the sleepiness and to make your tastebuds dance with joy. Their aim is to bring coffee of the finest grade, which is micro-roasted coffee, to capsule machines in the Cape.
Your beloved Nespresso machine will still be out to good use. Coco Safar will stock Cup of Excellence®coffee capsules, which can be used in Nespresso machines to bring high quality, good-tasting coffee to our hearts (and souls). If you want to tone it down on the caffeine, try the rooibos capsules.
If you’re in the mood to find out if Coco Safar is anything like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, head on over to Cavendish mall for a bizarre dessert experience.
