Have you watched those Buzzfeed or Tastemade tutorials on Facebook? I’m sure you have. You can go from I-don’t-know-what-the-hell-I’m-doing to a complete-pro-at-cooking in just a couple of minutes with a DIY tutorial.
Who am I kidding? You’ll have to try to perfect the recipe about five times and you’re only left half-satisfied with what you made after all your efforts in the kitchen. You may feel like you need a drink at this point, so make it something strong. You can step away from the pots and pans and focus on making your own DIY gin instead.
The New Harbour Distillery is giving you an opportunity to become a pro at DIY by making your own gin (ooh, fancy). In the course, you’ll be able to see how gin is made, learn how to make gin from scratch and learn about the different types of gin. Throw in a history lesson and a bottle of the gin you made yourself, and you’re sure to be a true gin master.
This course includes all gin-related course material, tastings, a booklet of recipes and your own DIY bottle of gin.
You might think that I’m making this up, but I kid you not. This gin course is 100% real, certifications will be given to all those who complete the course.
Classes are limited to eight people, so book early to avoid disappointment. Larger groups of gin lovers can be accommodated.
