Everyone’s favourite Italian franchise, PRIMI Piatti, has undergone some changes. Having already altered its name to simply PRIMI, the restaurant chain has also introduced additional flavours that are sure to become classics in no time.
It’s not all about pizza and pasta anymore, although there’s still plenty of that to satisfy your appetite. Instead, PRIMI has introduced its new all-season breakfast menu that includes delicious Mediterranean and Middle Eastern influences.
Chef Natale Schotti, who has been developing the menu for the past year, uses locally sourced ingredients and preservative-free condiments to ensure your food is as fresh as it is flavourful. While timeless breakfasts such as Eggs Benedict can still be found, it’s the new dishes that are the true stars of the show.
For those who love a substantial breakfast, try the Rigatoni Forza – bacon and chorizo in a tomato sauce, chilli, ricotta and two eggs – all baked in the pizza oven. It’s classic PRIMI with a twist. Or go for the Salmon Frittata and Creme Fraiche, which not only contains great-quality salmon but is also topped with salmon, creme fraiche and tomato relish – and served with garlic ciabatta slices. It’s a mouthful but worth every bite as the saltiness of the fish is perfectly complemented by the creaminess of the creme fraiche while the relish adds a touch of Mediterranean flair. If you’d rather skip the fish, there’s plenty of sweet offerings too. Our pick? The Decadent French Toast comprised of a croissant, peanut butter, banana and caramel sauce.
As always, PRIMI’s coffee offerings do not disappoint. And there’s no better way to end off a good meal with an even better cup of coffee. If you’re not big into caffeine, the fresh-pressed juices won’t disappoint either.
