Condor Airlines has increased their leg of flights from Cape Town International Airport to Frankfurt. The airline will now host three flights a week from Cape Town to Frankfurt (and vice versa) on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays from 18 September until 28 April 2019.
An extra flight will be added on Wednesday to the weekly schedule and will operate from 28 October 2018 until 29 March 2019.
Condor Airlines spokesperson, Jan Ostermayer explains that the increase in demand for flights from Cape Town to Frankfurt (and vice versa) prompted the airline to increase the weekly flight schedule.
“We will increase the flight capacity from three weekly flights during summer flight schedule 2018 to four weekly flights during winter flight schedule 18/19 because we see a higher demand in the market to travel with Condor to Cape Town/South Africa,” Ostermayer said.
Flights from Cape Town to Frankfurt will operate with a Boeing 767-300ER, accommodating 200 guests with 30 seats in business class, 35 seats in premium class and 135 seats in general economy class.
Availability in business class varies as the plane comes equipped with either 18 or 30 business class seats.
Fares are priced from approximately R5256,59 per person (€ 299) and exclude air taxes.
Ostermayer advises that Capetonians opt for travel to Frankfurt during their winter season to save on travel costs.
“The lowest complete one-way price in winter 2018/19 is from 299.99 Euro in Economy Class, from 399.99 Euro in Premium Class and from 1249.99 Euro in Business Class,” he said.
