Canapés of oysters and wild mushroom arancini on arrival are sure to whet your appetite. Starters entice you to choose between Marsala marinated quail with caraway steeped labneh, chickpea, lemon grass, coconut and coriander ragout or barrel-smoked Franschhoek trout gravlax decked with beetroot scales, vineyard alfalfa and cured salmon roe.

For mains, choose between fennel-encrusted baked sea bass, embellished with lobster croquettes, toasted almonds and water chestnuts; or tender 18-hour sous vide Karoo lamb neck, trimmed with toasted pearl barley, pickled butternut and wild sprouts.

For dessert, decide between hot fondant with semi-frozen crème anglaise and salted cocoa or Turkish delight ice cream and vanilla sponge genoise with bubbly and rose macerated berries.
