On Saturday February 8, lucky swimmers in the Hout Bay area were treated to an amazing experience as a pod of social dolphins frolicked around their boat.
The dolphins seemed to embrace the company and swam alongside the rubber boat, with one of the swimmers even hopping into the water to get a closer look.
At one point, a friendly seal even joins in on the festivities as the dolphins show off their swimming skills.
Over the weekend Hout Bay seemed to be teeming with life as paddlers and beach-goers swam with seals and dolphins galore.
Locals say that the dolphins being so close to shore means rain is on the horizon.
