A time lapse video was shot of the raging fire on Lions Head by local photographer Mike Eloff earlier this week, with the aftermath leaving it looking like it received a very regrettable haircut.
The video was taken from 7 pm – midnight and it shows just how quickly the flames engulfed the side of the mountain.
Fortunately firefighters got the blaze under control later that evening, but that didn’t stop the mountain from seeking help on Twitter the following day.
