After some serious rainy weather that hit the Cape this weekend, dam levels have increased from 60.7% to a nice round 62% and forecasts say more rain will hit the region soon.
High levels of rainfall poured down over the city on Saturday and Sunday causing flooding and affected some 328 residences.
With the rain causing damage in some areas a much appreciated silver lining is the water storage increase:
Many area such as the Cape Agulas, Ceres, Paarl, Struisbaai and Wellington received over 10mm of rain.
