Capetonians will start their week off with a splash as forecasts suggest both Tuesday and Wednesday may bring rain to the Mother City.
Locals can expect a chilly Tuesday with highs of 17°C and lows of 14°C with a 90% chance of precipitation throughout the day.
Currently Wednesday has a 20% chance of turning into a rainy day as well with highs of 15°C and lows of 10°C.
As always residents are looking forward to as much rain as we can get with dam levels currently at an overall storage capacity of 46.5% as of May 31.
Water storage has experienced a slight increase due to the latest bountiful rains but more is always welcome.
Our lowest dams are Theewaterskloof at 36.8% followed by Steenbras Lower at 40.2%.
So remember to pack your umbrella and wear something especially warm this week, Cape Town.
