The Western Cape has experienced a largely dry July, as the winter rain conditions that drenched May and June have somewhat gone into hiding. However, precipitation is on its way back to the Cape to provide some relief.
Significant rain and chilly weather is on it’s way to the Mother City this Friday, after two weeks of warm and windy conditions.
Weather forecasts show a bountiful rainy day coming our way this Friday accompanied by some stormy weather with more rain expected from Monday through too Wednesday.
Up to 20mm is expected to fall this Friday with storm winds and even thunderstorms expected to make an appearance later in the day.
The upcoming weather system won’t bring as much rain as the downpours seen in past months, but every drop counts and hopes are that the dams will reach the 60% mark.
