Another person in South Africa has died from COVID-19, taking the country’s death toll to 13.
The Department of Health confirmed the death of a male at Parklands Hospital, along with a rise in coronavirus cases. The country now has 1 749 cases.
As at today, the total number of confirmed #COVID19 cases is 1749. There is also another death, bringing the total to 13 deaths. It was a male who had stage 4 prostrate cancer at Parklands Hospital. We convey our condolences to the family of the deceased #ZweliMkhize

According to the Department of Health, the man who passed away also had stage four prostate cancer.
Minister of Health, Dr. Zwelini Mkhize has expressed concern over the situation at St. Augustine’s Hospital in Durban. According to the Minister, there have been 66 people who tested positive at the hospital in the last few days, of which 48 are hospital staff members. The hospital may be closed down to allow for fumigation.
