Faf De Klerk is donning his infamous national underpants again – this time for a good cause. The rugby players new initiative, #FafChallenge, is raising awareness about testicular cancer by encouraging men across the country to get tested.
The Faf Challenge, in collaboration with Cipla, was created to raise awareness about testicular cancer. According to the Cancer Association of South Africa (CANSA), testicular cancer is one of the most common male cancers in men between the ages of 15 and 49. The disease is curable with early detection.

Faf is urging all men in South Africa to participate in the #fafchallenge by posting pictures of themselves in speedos to social media in an effort to raise awareness about this preventable cancer.
His website, fafchallenge.com, educates men on how to test themselves for the cancer.
“Don’t faf this up,” the website reads, “be ballsy enough to check your crown jewels in the #fafchallenge”.
Faf has challenged his fellow Springboks Siya Kolisi and Jesse Kriel to join the challenge, both of whom have since accepted.
